Today I'm focused on the lack of availability and generation exclusive games the first two years of their release.

And imho opinion a lot of people should downgrade or cancel based on the price updates today. The price increases are major enough that it will happen.

On the other side of things...maybe I'll try some Fortnite stuff going forward since I'm being given all the things with ult?

So I get that people want to make a clickbait headline, but in reality a lot of people were probably just downgrading their Xbox Game Pass membership also.

Yes a lot of people canceled today, but I would say there was also a similar amount of people just downgrading.

So Cyberpunk is like...Borderlands meets Far Cry...in an edgy future.

It's...fine? It's fun. The loops are pretty straight forward. Maybe its just ive played a lot of similar games gameplay loop wise.

Yup...im bored with Silksong...

I was worried about this. Lightning isn't striking twice for me. I guess I didn't need more Hollowknight?

It's ok to feel this way, but a bit sadge.

So to any young person that finds this post. If you're struggling with Silksong...play other games in the genre in between. Play a Super Mario game or one of the many awesome indie platformers that exist. I really like Kunai and Iconoclasts. Also try Ori!

I've heard a lot of younger players credit Ori and Cuphead as games that made Silksong easier for them. I wonder how many of these young adults had an older sibling or relative between 28 and 33 that inspired their game choices. I just think that's neat.

Like I have seen elements of a variety of 16 bit era platformers, the Genesis Aladdin style platforms in the Citadel especially tickled me.

However unless theses adults as teens and kids played games like Ori, Little Big Planet, or Rayman Origins/Legends they really struggle.

Like ill watch clips from bosses ive beaten and ill see like "attempt 100+" or "3+ hours" on a boss. It makes me wonder if it's for the content or if because these people grew up on Fortnite and Live Service games. I feel like many in my age group don't struggle with this game.

and my video feeds have been LOADED with spoilers and DYKKKKKKK style stuff. So I'm glad I jumped in. I also felt rushed to play before bosses were getting nerfs. I find that too many people pick up a game like this just on hype alone and have no level of experience in the genre.

I'm enjoying Hollow Knight: Silksong, but...I don't know.

I feel like I was rushed to play it? I honestly wasn't in the mood for this kind of game but I feared I'd see way too much before getting to play it on my own.

I wanted to play Remnant DLC and start Cyberpunk.

Savage Beastfly defeated after about 14 attempts.

I discovered the area almost immediately after beating Moorwing.

Again...I dont know what people are raging about. This was a pretty straightforward Metroidvania boss with small mob summons.

took me 3 tries today to defeat Moorwing in Silksong, and apparently I'm under resourced for this. this is going to be a patched boss soon.

I have delayed reaction times due to brain damage and chronically ill hands. I think people need to stop complaining.

I was putting off playing Silksong but there's a bunch of babies saying it's too hard.

So now I need to play it before it's patched for the babies.

The fact that @magic.wizards.com doesn't have a @mtgarena.com version for consoles, especially with @xbox.com, is wild to me.

Anyone at Hasbro or Microsoft maybe ask "Should we seek out a deal for Xbox to help fund a version and we can give @gamepass.xbox.com members packs for the launch?" 🥸

I have finished "RoboCop: Rogue City" and I feel terrible for overlooking and dismissing the game. It's a modern throwback and a must play for fans.

It measures up to other video game continuations of movies like Ghostbusters and Mad Max. Full Patreon review later.

Short version. Young blood and new company share holders are going to show that they know what they are doing better than the former majority shareholder and probably aim to bring the rest of the shareholders on their side of things to make sure Western expansion happens.

The folks at PP are also probably well educated on what could be one of Pokémon TCG biggest competitors, hololive OCG. Again these are power plays that hopefully will inadvertently bring good changes as Bushiroads other share holders will insist on their consultations down the road.

It will of course be self servicing with collectibles, an anime, and/or a card game for Palworld, but also remember that PP is being sued by Nintendo & TPC for the Poke-esque things in Palworld. They obviously want to show they aren't just some small company they can push around.

If Vanguard players don't think that the other shareholders of Bushiroad won't see that or figure that out, especially with the absolute insane Western success PP has had, then I think you need to look a bit further than a foot in front of your face. PP probably has an agenda.

This is a common problem we see with a lot of legacy Japanese companies as a whole, but glimmers of hope are coming through. Companies like Capcom or Pocketpair is starting to see the young guys become masters and be WAY MORE in touch with modern wants and desires of gamers.

Kidani is to Western Bushi fans as Ono was to Street Fighter/Capcom, the one who used to "get it" but now no longer does with a mindset holding back a company and its employees from achieving way bigger strides and sales. He singlehandedly holds back Western Bushiroad expansion.

In regards to Palworld devs Pocketpair buying out some shares from Bushiroads now former majority voting rights holder..

I think Vanguard peeps are underselling how big of a deal this is. The man holding back Bushiroad card games is no longer the majority power.
