He has recently started a project in Kenya, which is looking at how the food environment shapes adolescent food choices across a spectrum of unplanned to planned urban settings. 👏

Ben is also working on consumer behaviour - what we choose to eat and why - with a view to understanding how to best transition to more sustainable diets and what trade-offs there might be, especially around how foods are swapped in meals. 👇

Ben originally trained as an ecologist working on the distribution of vector-borne diseases. From there, he collaborated with economists to understand the impacts of endemic livestock diseases. 👇
