Trump doesn’t care what people think. He is delusional and increasingly demented, but he also doesn’t want popular support. He knows that he won’t be ‘elected’ to an illegal third term. Everything he does now is to fulfill his insatiable, deeply troubled needs. He won’t stop until he is stopped.
If you’re roughly my age, it’s wild to reflect on the optimism for the future Americans felt when Obama was elected — young Americans spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate! — and contrast with what we face today. The falloff over the past 18 years is hard to process.
Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, Greenland, Canada, and on and on and on. Lindsey Graham says they are “marching through the world.”
They don’t care how many US soldiers they get killed. Meanwhile, they’re building concentration camps at home for Americans to die in. What will it take for people to wake up?
