The top priority was pushing Ukraine to bow to Putin, with a strong second priority of denigrating NATO and democratic Europe. Cooperating to learn from Ukraine’s experience fighting drones would undermine that.
What, was the U.S. government supposed to prioritize American and partner security?

All this was a choice. I can’t get over how all of this was a choice. A plurality of American voters saw corruption, bigotry, pandemic, economic crisis, coup attempt, and criminal conviction, then opted for more.
