i guess you'd need at least SOME amount of musical/technical knowledge to operate a modular synth and make something listenable. maybe that's it? idk
the worst thing is that i also enjoy making generative music. by which i don't mean music from text, i mean modular synth bleep blops. deciding on parameters and then allowing the sample-and-hold to run. somehow, i cannot really separate that from whatever the hell "AI" is at this point??
