Wow. Missed the second half for squash but good on you #lufc, you dug right in there.

Underwhelming. A loss is not a bad thing but a bad loss would be. Don't know if Farke is trying something in a game he can take a chance in but #lufc need a change to make it feel like we are more in this.

#lufc seem to be playing into Chelsea's hand. Looks very easy for them to find space. Maybe a real need to change.

Delighted with the 3 points. #lufc 's fitness and tenacity won us that game. Not that it was low quality but it was certainly clumsy. Gruev my pom but run close by Bogle at the end. Great start to the weekend.

Great result so far but don't know if it's nervy or complacent or one of those moments but seemed to be a lot of giving away of the ball at times. Finding it hard to keep it too. Need to settle second half as I dare say Forest would have won that half on points. #lufc just got the ones that count.

Great to see James and Bijol on the bench but would like to see Gnonto start instead of Okafor and also Longstaff. Forest always make me nervy. Not a bogey team but #lufc always seem to fall the wrong side of luck with them. Don't want to admit it's a must win but it's a bloody big game. 🤞🏼

Good way of looking at it. Think the only truism we can take is that Leeds losing = bad, everyone else losing = good.

Arsenal seem pretty pleased to have a 6 point gap between them and Man City. Think the #lufc family can take the same feeling of positivity.

Guess having Arsenal as an #lufc bogey team is better than Oldham.

Didn't see the second half but seems #lufc dropped off the boil. I know to concede an equaliser seems like dropped points after such a strong half but it's a point against a team above us in the form table and in the mix for Europe. Everton would have expected more too. Swings and roundabouts

Goalkeepers aside, I love how assured #lufc are for the most part. Not complacent it cocky but patient and calm. They all know their roles and positions and each others. They have such a fluent, supportive team ethic. S fully deserved lead. 🤞🏼 we hold on.

Feels a long time coming tonight's game which means it a bit more nervy. What gives me faith is that a Farke side will more often than not battle out a result. I'm sure we will see the #lufc we know and love tonight.

I'll be annoyed if Wolves beat Newcastle. Not because of points or dislike but about the irrational sense of injustice I'd feel about how they beat #lufc. Less, 'Can't believe Wolves won', more 'How dare Newcastle lose'.

Brilliant. Nice to be on the positive side of a late goal. Better second half but had stalemate all over it. Some great battling and focus for the goal when winning it back. Great run and cross from Ampadu and a wonderful bit of athleticism with the finish. Do think it was deserved. Crowd great too.

Not of a meh first half from both teams. Both having their moments. Think #lufc will come out the blocks second half. First goal is a big one.

Was good, strong and worked hard but Gnonto made more team plays for me.

Exorcised a few #lufc cup demons there with a second half performance that showed how much stronger we are and how we deserve the premier League label. Gnonto my stand out for the game but just a very solid second half by all.

Do #lufc need to keep shooting from distance?

Unfortunately, you could write this for #lufc. I do think we will win this in the second half though. Derby don't look great and we have threatened a lot. Got to be some romance for the neutrals/Derby fans.

Sickening. Draw the fairer result. #lufc fantastic. Game was like a Rocky III fight but with the wrong ending. Well done lads. Losses like this will happen but the performance shows it's not going to be the norm. On and on.

Stressful watching both #lufc and 'The Traitors' at the same time.

Another great half for the neutral. #lufc have been brilliant. Probably not the best footballing team and riding a little luck but they are pushing and pushing and staying calm throughout. 🤞🏼 For the 2nd half.

Hope I'm wrong but think today will be the end of our unbeaten run. Just a step too far with amount of games, away fixture and form Newcastle have been in. Even if I'm right, this run has not been built in luck but belief, persistence and good management. Makes me feel confident it's not a one off.

Not the result we wanted but possibly a fair result. #lufc the better in the second half and most likely but sadly not to be. Still, results went out way, a point better off, a strong, battling performance from all and unbeaten run continues. In terms of the Premier League, very positive.

Lacking the edge #lufc have shown of late but a fairly equal half. Need to come out strongly next half and be more ambitious. This is our home ground and we need to show that.

Big positives for #lufc tomorrow. Lose and we are no worse off (though that can't be an option), draw and we continue our run and gain another point against a team (somehow) in the top 6. Win and we beat a fierce rival, go ten points clear and move up a place.

Even with a loss that would be a strong performance from #lufc. One for everyone to be pleased with. A few nervy passes though. Hope this run of results is not becoming a stress. They just need to keep doing what they are doing. All will be well.
