If it wasn't for querying, I wouldn't rehash the beginning of my first book over and over again. I never secured an agent, but I feel that I have a better feel for revision than I ever did before.

That sucks, but I really hope it's all a misunderstanding.

But perhaps, I had internally knew this, for they had desired to ascend from their metal trappings to go beyond their design. A hope that had become twisted because of neglect.

There's hardly a word the describe who they are as a concept and I need more time to dwell on it.

Because they're an extension of this, I find them multi-layered. Maybe it's because my view of humanity has drastically shifted. Yes, there's evil in this world, but I have been blown away by the courageous good in this world, too. The Mannequin Queen is a child of both sides of the conflict. (3
