It explains all of the pain. Like no one problem point is severe but totaled up with everything else, it's a lot to bear. Like, I also found out I have a sizable ovarian cyst from the mri, I had not even noticed that problem at all. It just blended in with the hip pain.

Found out Friday that all of the connective tissue in my hip joints is basically shredded, down to even where my hamstrings connect is torn. So, ouch. But finally having mri proof that my hips are fucked & it's not in my head is great. EDS is not fun.

So, anyways, I should make a cosplay of Violet Sorengail from the book Fourth Wing, right?

Ever have a cosplay so niche that rarely does anyone recognize it? I love my Anita Blake cosplay but I won't even wear it to a convention because I really don't feel like explaining to everyone who I'm supposed to be. I wish more people did book cosplays (beyond Acotar).

Haven't had the energy (mental or physical) to be on bluesky lately. My hips have gotten really bad again, waiting on mri (last one was 10yrs ago). Dr wants to do procedure to clean out those joints but it's typically done with local anesthetic which has no effect on me.

The surgeon was a fellow student who worked at that same hospital. My instructor was coincidentally a coroner at the time.

Nothing I said was a lie. But the context is important. I was teaching a younger ranked fellow karate student some knife techniques. I blocked her attack, she lost control of her entirely wooden knife, and it flew into my face and struck my lip. There was no blade.

Deep Brenda Lore - 13 yrs ago, I got in a knife fight with another woman and wound up needing 9 stitches on my lip. I was taken to the emergency room by an orthopedic surgeon and the county coroner. (Picture from after the stitches got out for proof)

Finally got to do the Rocky Horror thing at my hometown theater tonight. We had a blast! I threw together a closet cosplay of Frank and tried to make up for the lack of details with body glitter. My friend Jolene had a perfect Columbia costume.
