Now doctors/medical students are leaving red states (with already high mortality rates) because they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

In the end, judges and juries will determine when and if a medical abortion was necessary, instead of health practitioners, which should not be the case as they are likely not qualified to make medical decisions.
