For instance, we now finally have the technology to do the kind of racial admixture studies of their correlation with IQ that meet the standards Margaret Mead proposed in 1926. This could have falsified once and for all the nature and nurture moderate position:

The nature plus nurture moderates who advocate some combination of nature and nurture have seen their stance survive a number of Popperian attempts at falsification over the generations. The 100% nature extremists tend to explain away unwelcome findings with new rationalizations.

But why do these pervasive racial gaps in average cognitive performance exist? The extremist dogma is that the cause must be 100% nurture, while the moderate view is that the cause is some combination of nature and nurture.
