Ohio House passes program piloting community energy. What is it? The Community Energy Pilot Program would allow for as many as 1,500 megawatts of small-scale facilities across Ohio, including renewable facilities.

Ohio deserves evidence-based policy, not red tape. I opposed HB 324.

❌ Not grounded in science — relies on outlier data instead of full evidence
❌ Creates an unfunded, unworkable mandate for ODH
❌ Duplicates existing FDA drug-safety systems
❌ Adds barriers to care by restricting telehealth, hurting rural, disabled, low-income patients most

HB 324 passed the House 59–28.

On the surface it looks like a patient-safety bill, but the details tell a different story:

I was proud to offer sponsor testimony on HB448 which requires PBMs & insurers to pass prescription drug rebates directly onto patients, not keep them as profits. This common-sense relief increases access to medications, improves health & reduces ED visits and hospitalizations.

We passed HB359 creating the Joshua Alert, an emergency alert for missing children with autism or developmental disabilities. Inspired by 6-year-old Joshua Al-Lateef Jr., this system will help first responders and communities act faster & save lives. Proud to cosponsor & now it heads to the Senate.
