i have made it clear numerous times at the time, that i'm happy to rectify things if they're being misconstrued.
all DMs i got regarding it from the waterwolf group have either ran around the topic, or straight up derailed into something else. no counter proof was given at all over months.
the poster was never updated in the app; this is an outdated one, with a different performer who was previously there.
up to date poster was only on my socials and on the NFC channel at some point.
if you intend to lie about the encounter, at least be consistent with techsane, otherwise it's obvious you're trying to manipulate the situation.
i only had one bud next to me, the group joined later - although i'm glad that was the case, it's a shitty thing to see.
and i could tell it was not a chance encounter - the person who later identified themselves as tech was looking around the area peering at badges, clearly looking for someone.
kind of an odd thing to say from em, especially since i was never against a conversation - refusing to respect someone's personal space while persistently trying to get answers out doesn't exactly adhere to what's being described here.
and the world certainly is kind, but not all people are.
don't think that's him, just someone affiliated; can't expect all groups to know every corner of the scene :p
not like much changed in that regard either, and they don’t even hide it. the gemini icon is right there on their promo shit, it’s almost a parody at this point
support events and initiatives that don’t treat people like shit.
it’s up to creatives, performers, technicians and attendees to make the right choices here. not any group leaders or other specific individuals.
i hate getting involved in these situations, but i see this as an issue for the whole of the scene - harassment should NEVER be tolerated, physical or virtual. if someone tells you to back up or they’ll call on security, you back the fuck up, you don’t stand there yapping about something else.
i’ve also taken steps to contact google regarding the false removal of the document.

i will not take physical intimidation and scare tactics as an argument.
NFC con security has been informed, and i’ll be working to take appropriate steps regarding this with other relevant parties. no one should feel unsafe at a con especially in their most vulnerable moments.
they‘ve taken weeks, even months out of some people’s lives, and I refuse to let dry proof of that be labeled as ”slander”.
i welcome anyone to prove the contents wrong, always have, and since publishing all I’ve received from people representing waterwolf is harassment, with no counter evidence.
it’s true; i was targeted by the individual in a highly confrontational manner, at probably the worst moment in the entire con; tired, overwhelmed, and looking to decompress after performing.
having a conversation is one thing. getting up in someone’s face and refusing to back off is another.

While helpful, do keep in mind that artists can often change their prices - if something like this were to be widely used, it'd likely be worth keeping tabs on said artists' prices to make sure they aren't misrepresented ^^
