The Olympic boom is on now. It was a nearly ideal set of results for the Olympics in Cortina to bring in big crowds into curling clubs.
It is up to the clubs to turn prospective curlers into members.

🚨EVENT/PARKING ALERT🚨
LOVB Volleyball is playing at Baxter Arena tonight at 5pm. Plan for more traffic and different parking when coming to leagues tonight.
🚗Baxter Arena recommends using Lot 27 (across 67th street) during events.
No doubt the finish stings for Peterson and Casper.
But if you would have told me a month ago the USA would have one team medal, another team make the playoffs, and a third team miss the playoffs by one game, I would have told you these Olympics were an unmitigated success.
USA drops the bronze medal game to Canada, repeating their fate from the Salt Lake City 2002 games.
No doubt this stings for them to miss the podium, but what a wonderful run from Team Peterson in Cortina. They represented the United States so well on the biggest stage.
Helpful for clubs looking to purchase new rocks or ice making equipment for new facilities! 👀

USA mens curling can apparently still qualify for the playoffs if:
1. CAN beats ITA (in progress, and they are)
2. CZE beats CHN (in progress, and they are)
3. SUI beats NOR (in progress, and they are)
4. SUI beats ITA
5. GER beats CHN
6. CAN beats NOR
With an unprecedent amount of attention on curling due to controversy, Italy and the United States put the focus back on fair play and sportsmanship on Monday night in Cortina.
