27.09.2025 19:02 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0CMU runs out of time, kick is no good, EMU runs to end the clock, so we'll go to halftime with the score sitting at a lopsided 21-6.
27.09.2025 18:32 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1CMU with a nice return, looking to drive down for another score before halftime.
21-6 Chips, sitting near the 50 with a minute left.
Eagles finally get a bug play of their own, and they're marching.
27.09.2025 18:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They certainly have to do something, I think they might worry a firing now makes them look like they're floundering, harder to bring in a good replacement.
27.09.2025 17:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Icing the kicker didn't work, CMU up 21-3.
27.09.2025 17:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Touchdown Chippewas, now up 20-3 with 10:46 left in the half.
EMU called timeout on the XP, guess they're trying to ice the kicker or som'n.
Schools like this gotta have a longer leash. Not just turning a team around, also have to turn around recruiting. Sustained success takes longer.
But man, this defense is bad.
Eagles finally get a stop on 3rd down, but Chips convert 4th and 1 and are now sitting 1st and goal.
27.09.2025 17:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0CMU with ANOTHER big play, 1st and 10 from the 32, just beating the doors off their lesser in state rivals.
27.09.2025 17:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0End of the first, CMU has dominated Eastern, has not been as close as the 14-3 score would suggest.
27.09.2025 17:39 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0EMU needs to come up with something to slow down this Chippewa offense, they've had nothing so far.
27.09.2025 17:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0EMU with a questionable 3rd down play call in the red zone followed by a personal foul.
Forced to kick, 42 yard FG is good. 14-3.
CMU with their second big play of the game, this one long for a TD. XP is good, 14-0 with 5:04 left in the 1st. Not EMU's day so far.
27.09.2025 17:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Chippewas on the board with a neat one handed catch and stretch in for a score. XP is good. 7-0

23.09.2025 17:38 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0When Alex told me that the NFL denied him a credential after we had booked the trip, I didn't panic at all because I knew he was going to write a killer story anyway
Despite knowing that, I was floored at how fucking good it ended up being
This is of course due to how the scores work, behind the final RAS is an average and few players truly average on the fringe of scores, they usually have some middling or opposite scores mixed in with their good or bad ones.
Still, kinda interesting to see charted out.
If you average 80th percentile in all 10 metrics? You jump up to around 95th percentile for #RAS overall.
Over 90th percentile in all 10 tests? That's 99th percentile for RAS overall.
This trend holds true in the opposite direction as well.
Doing a study right now that's turned up some interesting results.
If you score around 50th percentile in all 10 metrics we use for #RAS, you're about a 50th percentile RAS player.
If you score around 70th percentile in all 10 metrics, you're around 8.6 RAS (86th percentile).
Ranked #32 in average #RAS for 2025 with 6.81 are the #Rams, who has the 2nd fewest players over 8.00 with only 16 and the 3rd most players under 5.00 with 10.
They also ranked last in 2024, though their average is a little higher.

This is down from 2024 where they ranked 27th.

This is actually an improvement, a slight one, over 2024 where they ranked 30th.
Ranked #26 in average #RAS for 2025 with 7.41 are the #Bills, who ranked 24th for players over 8.00 with 25, and 27th for players under 5.00 with 9.
Same ranking as 2024, Bills seem to pay more attention to athleticism in the draft than overall roster.
