Replica Columbus tall ship Nao Santa María will be docked in #Poole Quay from Wednesday 11 June to Sunday 22 June.

The #NaoSantaMaría was the largest of the three ships that Christopher Columbus used during his first voyage across the Atlantic in 1492. The ship will serve as a floating museum.

Maiden Castle is one of the largest and most complex Iron Age hillforts in Europe. It would once have been densely populated.

It’s now owned by English Heritage and is a lovely place to walk around, with views over #Dorchester, #Poundbury and the Hardy Monument.
