As you know, I have stood outside both houses. With Barry's Beaconsfield house, there is absolutely nothing to see from the road. The house is completely hidden - there is only the gatehouse which is similar to Robin's, whereas there are parts of the Prebendal house that can be seen from the road.

I'm sure the drive to the house from the "gatehouse" is through a wooded area .. it must have been cleared to build the house?? I think the Prebendal is a bit more "green" around the house?

Yes Beaconsfield is green wellies! I believe that the path in the top right is the same path but the gate they are standing in front of has gone?? I think the news clipping was about extending the house .. I think Barry had lived there for a few years before!

Well I think even Robin is confused! He says (at 2:20) he has lived there since 83/84 - so he was not pinning down the year either!! 😂

I think Barry's house seems the better option anyway! Let's hope to find out one day!!

I really hope we get to see it 🤞 .. these listings are great - so the interview took place in the "Bee Gees country house" presumably Barry's Beaconsfield house unless Robin's was sorted as he would have only just moved into the Prebendal??

I found this Bee Gees blooper that I'd never seen before! This was the first episode of a new programme called Show Business which aired on 7 Oct 1983 - there was a Bee Gees interview the following week!

Oh fun and nice to find something new! Yes Robin's hair is not helpful at all though there are times it looks slightly longer. I may be wrong but can you judge the year with jackets? He went from the black jacket to mainly the red and black?

I looked yesterday and couldn't see a power station that would have been near the hospital grounds ..! The Chipperfield family is huge with many different generations continuing in the business .. they started in the 1600s and I think their animals have been kept all over the country.

Bristol to Barnes is a couple of hours. Maybe he did go to the fete? It's possible! But were the photos taken at a fete in hospital grounds & near a power station? The Chipperfield family were well known for having a circus/animals.

I saw this earlier today too .. it has to be same day! Same top and white jeans .. could the Getty photos be in Italy and not Paris?
