Cognitively consonant. Building an invincible summer home. Corporate needs us to identify the differences between wishcasting and actuality. Meet me at the corner of POSIWID and WYSIATI.

Turns out DOJ dropped the effort to search Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico in 2019. Who was President in 2019?

If/when we rebuild, a statement like that should be an immediate, automatic, and permanent disqualification from holding public office.

If you can't connect the dots between Ukraine, Russia, the US, Israel, and Iran, you're right, we really are done.

Point of fact: We're past the brink. It already is WWIII.

I feel like this *has*, in fact, been adequately explained.

What we need to do is prep for invasion and siege by our own government, and get used to ceaselessly protesting peacefully en masse, and in ever greater numbers, even when they begin to mow us down in large numbers.

Nothing gets better unless and until our humanity overwhelms their inhumanity.

The Desire for Terror And the defense of democracy

A purpose of the war on Iran might well be to provoke a terrorist attack inside the United States. This would provide Donald Trump with a pretext to try to cancel or “federalize” the coming Congressional elections.

🧵 2/2 TX Rep Monica De La Cruz (R) isn’t stepping up to help a family that’s here documented & following the rules

Antonio, a HS SR, the state’s 1st chair trumpet player, is sitting in the Raymondville detention center & his parents & brothers are in the Dilley Center

They’re kids, not criminals

YES, VOTE! IT MATTERS! Even with completely corrupt and illegitimate election systems, it still matters , ESPECIALLY if we are already out as a permanent presence in the streets in the weeks and months leading up to it!

We MUST be anti-fragile. With each new atrocity, our resistance MUST GROW.

Ultimately? It looks like his sequestration from society.

Because he is malevolent, anytime his actions harm society, he is winning.

Sure, and those may be, and are even likely to be, accurate, face value statements.

Why does anybody think he's failing instead of accomplishing exactly what he, in his narcissistic malevolence, wants?

Why does anybody believe whatever form of elections we wind up having will turn the tide on this?

Fucking zombie nation, even those with a moral compass.

If there were any justice, he would be compelled to live in public housing, be employed, and have his income garnished to the point of putting him at subsistence level living until his debt to society is paid off.

I assumed a money motive. I'm still not convinced otherwise. But the article essentially argues that he's a fool, not a cynic.

In all seriousness: They've known the presumption of regularity was a dead letter for many months, and had the goods to prove it, right? And they're reticent to take the next step because there's only a few left to take before any semblance of a functional justice system evaporates completely?

There's no need to try to discern which is the case. Just apply Fred Clark's law: Any sufficiently advanced ignorance is indistinguishable from malice.

Having suffered the pain of a tooth infection I can unequivocally say that this man died in absolute agony. The type of nerve pain that will have you screaming and wondering quite rightly if you’ve gone insane

This man was tortured through neglect, and everyone involved is an irredeemable monster

Put another way: Given any two principles, a scenario exists where one must be sacrificed for the other. That's why creed, religious or otherwise, is dangerous, especially in positions of power. A public servant must be covenantal, not creedal, to operate with integrity. I hope he works that way.

I hope he does too but I'm not inclined to give much benefit of doubt to anybody who definitely wants you to notice that he has a Bible in one hand while he's reaching for power with the other. The way he uses his faith at best strongly suggests a certain metaethical naivete. He will be assimilated.

Correct, it's a victory speech. Which eliminates the authenticity of any affectations of concern about whether each vote counted or not.

It's not about "the way I want" anything. It's about whether he is authentic.

When the words don't match the spirit, that's inauthentic.
