I got banned for calling out bigotry too but for three days. Realize I just need to block the person but Reddit isn’t the Bastion everyone thinks it is. Bots and trolls do exist and are primarily in political threads and know how to play with rules. Reporting them doesn’t result in anything.

There’s a growing list of Reddit accounts that come to spam, troll, bad faith argue and are provocateurs that automatically report those that contradict them. Careful because Reddit will not ban them but will go after you despite them purring fascist and white supremacist bullshit.
