Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

‘Elite Dangerous’ released on Windows PC 11 years ago today (12/16/25). This online space flight simulation game boasts a massive open world universe that represents the Milky Way galaxy. It’s actually the 4th game in the series, but the 1st to offer MMO gameplay.

Good point, I hadn't thought about the fact that the operations would also need some kind of revive mechanism.

Yes, I really hope it’s just the start of a sizable addition to exploration/exobiology content. Especially considering the upcoming DW expedition.

In my squadron most people now have a reduced security rating, but for some it actually has increased, since the negative effects that some facilities have were reduced as well.

Haven’t had a chance to look at my systems yet, but this post was pretty insightful. Basically the stat points are pretty heavily reduced, but since they seem to be capped anyway, the actual effect of the nerf is rather small.

They obviously could’ve handled it better, but I’m glad they took a step back and use the EA model.
I still don’t like the instant build aspect of it and the price is rather high for my taste. Should there be a sale at some point I might buy one, but I think I can wait until it’s available for all.

I don’t mind having to pay to unlock it (it’s just too pricey for what it is). But I really don’t like the instant build that comes with the purchase. That just doesn’t feel right for me.

I really hope that something along those lines is in the works

Yes, that is definitely an SLF bay. Makes sense for a large ship to have one, too.

I hope that it’ll be planets with denser atmosphere and some new forms of life (and possibly weather effects). It would be a huge addition for exploration gameplay and enhance the colonization feature with some new possibilities. Maybe even some new Guardian or Thargoid on-foot gameplay.

I expect a large combat ship, but that’s actually pretty low on my personal list. I’m not sure what I would want to see next, though. I kind of have everything I want now. The only ship missing would be a passenger ship, but it would need to have something special to make it interesting.

I’m pretty sure, that the T11 has the cargo capacity FDev wants it to have. If they were to remove the SLF bay, they would just delete the entire slot, not allow other modules in it.
