We're currently working on bringing back the playlist contract, wallet feeds, purchase buttons and curation/referral links, integration with @teia.bsky.social copyright features, and several features that used to be in v1 - this time more streamlined.😁

But this is what actually makes this collections of works interesting...it's from a specific era, from a specific community, back when the hype was real.

A couple of disclaimers (especially for musicians):

teia.cafe only indexes Hic et Nunc and TEIA audio mints. This means that video and audio-integrated formats, mints from objkt or other platforms will not show up there. (We'll expand when we have have more support to do so.)

There's a few bugs in there that we're aware of that will get fixed soon but mainly wanted to get feedback on the quality of feed itself. Good times? We're hoping to build a lot of features on this collection of music, after all.

Mainly - that all the tracks from from the HEN Radio days should all be in there. There's a lot of great music in there still undiscovered so I would highly recommend using the random 🎲 mode and just go through what's there. It's part of Tezos' history, after all.

Hey folks, we just did an overhaul to teia.cafe's API this week - it's fully integrated with TEIA's local API so the feeds should be much higher quality now.

Tezos folks are just normal people looking for better ways to do things.

But I guess what makes them "weird" is that they're willing to take a chance on something genuinely new. That may be a pretty rare thing these days when most people are trying to turn back the clock. ⏳️

SoundCloud changes policies to allow AI training on user content | TechCrunch SoundCloud appears to have quietly changed its terms of use to allow the company to train AI on audio that users upload to its platform.

In case you haven't heard, Soundcloud is now training their user's works for AI now.

This is actually a chance for NFTs to make a comeback, where they're legally still not allowed, especially if you mint it on @TeiaCommunity and declare it's rights.

A month after I left LA, the fires burned down half the city. The incident was tragic, but my biggest worry was that the NIMBYs were going to double-down on their insanity, despite the emergency.
