Definitely feels more like them trying to lockdown android and push more devs into the play store, so they can make more money.
There are examples of malware spreading through the play store several times every year. They don't actually care about safety at all.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.
