I was just talking about this to someone the other day - about how, if I hadn't been shown "circles" or "associated student bodies", I would have continued to grow up thinking that I would never be loved and that I was going to hell or something. I daydreamed a lot around then.

watching the first ep of the new king of the hill. my parents lived in qatar for four years, and when they left it took them a while to re-adjust to not having everything done for them and being able to have conversations with strangers. so weird how they got that in the show

been retreating from a lot of broader online interaction lately in favor of just being one on one with people. too much goes on for me to have the energy to take part in stuff. a lot of seeing friends IRL lately too. it's a nicer pace
