New research reveals the best attack lines to use against Reform How to stop Farage...

Chatted to my great uncle yesterday – a northern, working-class guy, not that political. I told him my job involved exposing Farage.

His first question was: “who funds him?”

Investigations into Farage’s donors can have a major impact on Reform’s support – as this research has already shown 👇

Here's my Twitter post from 4 years ago when I left my mobile on a train. Moreover, earlier this year a passer-by found my brother's mobile that he'd mislaid - this excellent person gave me a call from it and he was then able to give it back to my brother in short order.

Britain isn't broken.

Well, I'm an avid @therestpolitics.bsky.social listener and fan, and I'm basically the same age as @rory-stewart.bsky.social - if my calculations are correct, I think I'm somewhere between 6-7 weeks younger...

Note to party leaders: let Nigel Farage get in your heads and you are doomed Reform’s leader thrives on fear and imitation. To beat him, the main parties need conviction, not copycat politics

Reminds me of an anecdote regarding some American tourists visiting the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford, where one enquired:

"This is a beautiful building, is it pre-war?

to which their guide patiently replied:

"Madam, this building is pre-America."

Just caught up with the latest @thetwomatts.bsky.social, love the pod and have been a happy subscriber of @theneweuropean.bsky.social for a few years now.

Just wanted to point out that Ken Loach directed "I, Daniel Blake" and not "I, Daniel Craig"... 🤣
