Nobody should applaud policies that throw people off their health insurance or bankrupt them with medical bills.
Good, affordable health care is a basic human right.
The DOGE/Project 2025 cuts forced 300,000 federal workers out of their jobs, created chaos for struggling families and jeopardized the services we rely on. There's no evidence whatsoever that all these workers are now cashing in. DOGE has been devastating for America's workers.

Under the Trump administration, working families are struggling. Health care costs are spiking. Prices are going up on rent, groceries, utilities and more.
Workers are fighting for crumbs while billionaires and corporations get richer.
Worker BINGO: Restore bargaining rights for federal workers, fully fund NIOSH, prioritize worker safety, ensure a functioning NLRB, fix the pay gap, fully staff the Department of Education, dismantle DOGE, enact guardrails for AI, fix the affordability crisis, restore ACA tax credits, increase worker protections, fund new infrastructure projects, free space, pass the Protect America's Workforce Act, restore TPS protections, strengthen CFPB, raise the minimum wage, make it easier to form a union, end ICE assaults on workers, workers over billionaires, rein in CEO pay, create clean energy jobs, respect collective bargaining rights, it's better in a union, solidarity | AFL-CIO

James Van der Beek, one of the most iconic TV actors of his generation, had to sell the mementos from his career just to pay for his cancer treatment.
His death is a tragedy and a shameful indictment of our broken, cruel "healthcare" system.
Dawson and his Capeside classmates graduated the same year I did. We all grew up together.
This is just terribly sad, especially for his adorable family.

America’s unions stand in solidarity with our @mnaflcio.org union family as they stand up to the federal government’s militarized immigration enforcement, fight for truth and freedom, and demand ICE peacefully leave Minnesota.
Our solidarity is our strength. When we fight, we win.
