Do any other tech company brand team leaders out there ever get real sick of having to be the bad guy saying no to so many people’s requests for creative resourcing?
Like we just cannot physically or logistically do it all but I still feel bad having to say no to people’s ideas.
I may not be able to have a stimulating conversation in Spanish, but I just successfully ordered a birthday cake and got the correct sized needles for my sewing machine through some back and forth so it’s a good day 🙌

Just played I Spy over walkie talkies with my friend’s ten year old for over an hour while driving in a convoy around the Scottish Highlands.
And I think I had more fun than she did 😅
Anyway I climbed up a mountain this morning before work.
Something they don’t tell you* is that as you get fitter you actually crave movement instead of only viewing exercise as a chore. Wtf
(*they probably did tell me but I absolutely wouldn’t have believed it)

Related: it’s not even 9:30am on a Monday and I’ve already successfully made two phone calls about booking in a test drive IN SPANISH. Who is she.
When you’re speaking on the phone to someone in Spanish and ask them to speak a little slower, and they don’t just immediately switch to English instead 🥺
