There is truly nothing quite like the curse of the writer where you want a specific reading vibe and you pour through countless recs that just don’t quite hit the spot and then you sigh, stare off into the imaginary camera, and realize you’re just going to have to write it yourself.

Okay so genuine question: how do we feel about small time jumps towards the end of a book (like three months) and then an epilogue that jumps further ahead (like a year)? I fear the time jump is necessary to tie up a particular plot thread but the confrontation doesn’t fit an epilogue.
