I really admire the bravery of this. Also, the game looks great
What better question to ask the director general of PEGI than if they'll let their 15yo play Grand Theft Auto 6
About to play a bit of Slay the Spire 2 with MiDessie on Twitch. Then watch a bit of the Future Games Show (I think) www.twitch.tv/midessie
Also fascinating to see PEGI try and tackle online communities and addictive design elements. Grasping these things is like grasping water: it's really hard to find something tangible to get a hold of. But this is a start, and it's a declaration of intent
These are some very welcome changes! Especially pleased with the change that will probably result in EA Sports FC (whichever one comes next) getting a PEGI 16 rating rather than... a 3
π΄GOING LIVE IN 10 MINS!π΄ It's been many years since @johnnyohnny.bsky.social, @chrisbratt.bsky.social and I caused chaos on the battlegrounds but thanks to one small redundancy the cinematic team is BACK for an epic PUBGUNION stream! Watch here: youtube.com/live/W0x0h-A... or on twitch.tv/platform32
All the Solasta 2 comparisons are to Baldur's Gate 3, which is flattering, and perhaps unfair. There are some important distinctions to make
It's lovely to see studios praise each other like this. I also didn't realise the Solasta 2 dev and Clair Obscur dev were such good friends
You're going to have to carry them you know!
Look at that mane! π
Amazing! I can't wait to see Johnny and Chris try to play PUBG π€«
"Slay the Spire 2 is like when I had my second child. Itβs a little different than the first one, but you love it unconditionally."
"I'd let this game babysit my children."
"Slay the spire... my coconut bear, what do i say"
Steam reviews for Slay the Spire 2 that are better than anything I could write:

"Everything good about the first one, but more and prettier."

This is really cool!

Proud moment in an interview recently (embargo this week) when the presenting party said: "And we know you're quite knowledgeable on Dungeons & Dragons so if you really want to go super-thorough, super-deep on mechanics, please by all means go ahead."
My inner nerd never felt so validated

"Top-line features: You're a banana; You're in the forest; There are other bananas around you; And not only bananas"

"I've made a Steam page already."

"Exactly."
Imagine pitching this to a board.
"You know what we need?"
"A live service win?"
"An Ultimate Team game of our own?"
"Pay to win?"
"No! A game about being a banana."
"..."
"A game in which you can become a banana and do all the things bananas usually do."
"But bananas don't do anything."
My restrained and professional opinion of Slay the Spire 2 so far: π

I love this sort of constant fiddling with a game's innards to make it just so. A positive side effect of live service games? Or an excuse to keep changing your mind and alter things?
Diablo 4's in good shape at the moment, and the skill overhaul is a lovely thing
This is absolutely disgusting. Water companies including Southern Water have been using bailiffs for debt collection - in a cost of living crisis (!) and while they continue to pollute our waterways and despite outages and poor service. Shame on them. www.theguardian.com/business/202...
Been face-down in a Diablo 4 piece for later but now I'm turning my attention to the real thriller of the day. No not Marathon but Slay the bloody Spire 2!
Impromptu stream as I feel the game out for the first time with the lovely @midessie.bsky.social www.twitch.tv/midessie
I think a lot about how when "Lord of the Flies" happened IRL, the boys worked together to build a little community until they were rescued. But these were Tongans and not British.
