The MAGA base seems to finally be realizing that Trump hates them just as much as he hates everyone else.

The Senate Democrat’s argument that they didn’t want to solve a problem for the Republicans actually makes some sense but that kind of inside politics carries very little water with voters who are hurting and it also suggests Schumer had no business trying the shutdown strategy in the first place.
