Harmony of Dissonance is a lot of fun but it feels like its just /over/ at a point that didnt really feel natural to me, where Aria/Symphony felt just right. The combo system between the books and sub weapons is so cool though

I guess to me it doesnt make sense since gear in those games flows like water. They all without exception also have "free" gearsets that come without risk. A player can kill you, but you're never without loot. Netcode being ass is valid though and tarkov is kind of awful even without spotty pvp
then again it does beg the question why play in the first place if the literal selling point of the game is the asymmetrical nature of fighting better or worse geared players without knowing what you'll fight? Even in this video where he's complaining about it he still manages successful raids.
Even then I'd argue not entirely because while high budget "chad" gear becomes meta they invariably include options meant to level the playing field for very cheap. Mosin in Tarkov can 1 shot a tier 4 player with a chest shot. There's other stuff to consider so I dont think you're entirely off but
To Aqua's credit, the problem is more that the game itself is a non-functional piece of shit so people abandon it to play PVE, which is also funny as a fighting game player lmao. Bad netcode and connectivity.
Bro i can play KOF, and get whooped for hours but I still love the game, i just string together all the little things until i can win.
I like to think this is the reason i became a raging double master rank sweat lord in Apex Legends. A 3 hour loss streak was literally not a deterrent lmao
