Lean in, remove divisive language, and surface content that will make the difference.

News sources like you, MidasTouch, The Young Turks, The Bulwark, etc. could help make that happen, but there's a slippery slope, when we lean into the division narrative.

I think there are still a hand-full of good people trying to make positive change on either side, like AOC, Berney, Romney (in some cases), Liz Cheney, etc, but the Parties are targeting them for cancellation.

For additional context, I was a republican until about 2008 (38-ish years), started shifting my views, still fiscally conservative but socially progressive, and have voted democrat in most elections over the last 10 years, including the last election. BUT, I have been dismayed with both parties.

It's going to take all of us to get back to the democratic republic we want and expunge the oligarchs.

Anyone else feel this way?

For example, "drop some blue hearts," to me is triggering because, you're playing the game the oligarchs want, ie, division of the people into two sides, blue vs red. Simply dropping the "blue", and saying "drop some hearts," is a much better call to action that I would follow.

Fwiw, I don't think capitalism is fucked. I think it drives a lot of innovation and progress, but maybe there's an evolution that might produce public good.
