βStaticβ SEND funding puts support at risk, heads warn
Government announces that the use of its national formula for allocating high-needs funding for councils will be paused ahead of its planned reforms to the SEND system
NEW: The national funding formula, which allocates high-needs budgets for councils, will be suspended next year.
The DfE said that future spending will be reviewed as part of the SEND WP & it admitted that there are βquestionsβ over the methodology.
