The board sets the strategy

Not the execs . Their job is to follow the wishes of the shareholders as instructed by the board

I obviously don't know how the players react to him, but looking from the outside he doesn't look like a leader or a motivator

I'd have KT instead of Hanley and Lewis Ferguson instead of McLean

I think he's been very good in recent months

In his position he's not necessarily going to be as flashy as others .

£11m is a lot to pay for us , but i'd say he's been a good player. He didn't set the fee.

Nawrocki , i thought , was our best player
