I prefer physical books over virtual books. Too each their own but the reading experience is different. Physical books feel more immersive. I like the design of a physical book- the cover, the size, the paper stock. For photo and art books, there is no comparison.

How it started/How it's going

I love my 24-105f/4 and my 50f/1.4 lenses.

I’ve found the best resource to be the user to user forums. Searchable. Text and pictures. Never deleted. May be too much info but Adobe folks regularly answer questions.

Nicholas Nixon’s The Brown Sisters is not the exact same photo, but is a wonderful exploration of time and relationships and body language and aging. The Oxford Project by Peter Feldstein is similar in nature. Taking the same photo over and over can be very worthwhile.

One of my favorite photo projects is Ricard Misrach’s Golden Gate. The exact same view of the famed bridge photographed at different times and days over two years. Extraordinary project about time and light and weather and color.

Where was this in San Diego and when? Looks like an event I’d like.

This photo has been on my inspiration mood board gor many years. That pose mixes with the sculpture so well. Fantastic work!
