And I understand where that logic comes from; you say hi to the people you want to interact with, and social media has conditioned people to thinking that everything is a conversation. But there are a lot of people on the internet who want to be entertained without being social.
There's a lot of talk about how some people lately are struggling with socialization, and I'm wondering if this is related. Maybe it's younger/newer streamers not understanding the unwritten social contract of not speaking to viewers who just want to watch.
My morning. I just got here, but I couldn't leave it like it was. #Pokopia
Oh, I'm absolutely leaving the stream of anyone who does that to me.

Thanks for the feedback! Tbh, I'm not really trying to gain traction; I'm mostly just messing around with something new and sharing it with friends. These are all based on tutorials, so I wouldn't promote it as "my" art anyway. But I appreciate the support!
Accidentally struck a chord with the art community here with that last post! Glad to hear that people seem to think I'm on the right track by just doing what I enjoy rather than following a strict curriculum. Only one of these options leads to me having fun!
Anyway, here's Togepi.
Fair
Then stop opening Bluesky if it's causing people to fight
I understand why learning art fundamentals is important, but I'm never going to stick with it if I have to spend the first 10 hours drawing lines and boxes on paper. So I'm choosing to follow Pokemon drawing tutorials instead. I'll save the fundamentals for when/if I want to get good.
What could go wrong using AI to help stage a few listing photos?
I bought a drawing tablet. I don't know how to draw.
...So, drawing stream at some point in the future?

I have played every (English) Fire Emblem, and this might be the first time this has ever happened to me.
It's hilarious to me that the first few minutes of the Tomodachi Life direct is just them going "WE PUT GAY PEOPLE IN THIS ONE WE SWEAR"
I will!
I think he got a little lost. He ended up at my hotel. Hopefully his next stop is your island!

Also, I totally forgot I gave Xenoblade another shot this year. I still don't think I fully understand how it works.

I'm sorry to inform everyone that Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is bugged on Switch.

I hope at least some of this was helpful. I recognize that I didn't fully answer the question about motivation, but I think that's part of the problem; you can't rely on motivation to start. You just kind of have to push through and create a habit that eventually leads to motivation.
For me, after a few months of going to the gym, I started to see the results, particularly in my arms and back. I bought a bunch of tank tops to better show it off, and that has been my primary motivator since then: keeping the muscle that I've built and trying to look good in those clothes.
