Today the Corporation for Public Broadcasting announced they’re shutting down after Zach Nunn voted to cut their funding.

I worked at Iowa PBS for over a decade. Working at IPTV, I got to travel all of this state.

Zach Nunn went to D.C. and forgot about the people who sent him there. The people of Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District deserve a voice in Congress who will fight for them, not their party bosses or corporate backers.

Iowa's 6-week abortion ban has been in place for 1 year. How has access changed? The number of abortions performed in Iowa has dropped dramatically since a restrictive new law took effect one year ago.

I was able to talk with the Dallas County Democrats at their picnic over the weekend about this race for Congress, and how it is about winning, but also about service.

Zach Nunn just voted to raise costs on working Iowans, kill millions of jobs, and for the largest gutting of Medicaid in history— all to pay for tax breaks for his billionaire donors.

Public education is why I first ran for office: because I was a DMPS mom who saw that my kid's teachers weren't just bringing paper and pencils for their students, but food and winter coats.

Iowa students and teachers are relying on this funding and they deserve better.

Zach Nunn’s vote for the reconciliation bill will cost Iowans money, access to healthcare, and access to VA benefits. Congressman Nunn is not doing what he was elected to do, and he needs to be fired.
