This is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever had the pleasure to sit through and enjoy. I’m so glad I played it. Genuine 10/10 game. Nilin is one of the most like able and well written female protagonists of any game ever, and the ending is genuinely amazing.
Sometimes you really have to look at yourself and ask
“Why are tragic backstories so much fun to write, and why do all of my ocs have them?”
And then you remind yourself that you had a really good childhood and that your ocs would be boring if they had your history.
