I see by this historical game trailer that marketing is leaning into the “can we spawn GTA style thirsty fanart” angle. Not that I mind the trailer making sure we know the game has a scene of our heroic knights bonding shirtless in a lake, but I suspect that maaaaay not be the game’s focus.

The war of Oversaturated vs Washed Out colors in my artistic attempts continues. I suspect if I could ever manage to get a decent representative of Relativistic Color to come to the table, harmony might be achieved.

Also took a stab at a simplified color technique for watercolor-adjacent feels. Probably not a go-to, but I think it works reasonably well on this because of the large color blocking of the design.

"Phantom View" is about a son caretaking for his father, and discovering a blurry person in all their family photos that he has no memory of. The same figure is in all his dad's paintings--and the figure may be in the house with them right now.

It’s entirely possible I’m mistaken, but I’m under the impression Plastic Man’s costume is actually him with his shape change-y powers applied. In which case, he has no need to be practical with it. So, plastic glam? #plasticman #dccomics #characterdesign

It’s fine if you don’t like the construction, but I’d venture to guess the reason it shows up a lot in LLM text is *because it already showed up a lot in existing copy from similar categories.*

The thing about LLM output that may annoy *me* most is how folks insist the presence of a single punctuation type or rhetorical construction is incontrovertible proof of LLM generation. “‘It isn’t just X, it’s Y’ proves an LLM wrote this” appears to be the new em dash and I hate it.
