Join Harvey Mansfield (Harvard), Michael Moreland (Villanova), and the Hon. Jeffrey Sutton (US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit) for a conversation on Religious Liberty and the American Founding by Vincent Phillip Muñoz (Notre Dame).

The Founders understood religious liberty to be an inalienable natural right. Muñoz explains what this means for church-state constitutional law, uncovering what we can and cannot determine about the original meanings of the First Amendment’s Religion Clauses and constructing a natural rights jurisprudence of religious liberty.

Breakfast will be available beginning at 9 a.m., with the panel to follow at 9:30. No RSVP necessary.
