California Republican congressmembers helped pass the One Big UGLY Bill that cut $1 trillion in Medicaid, even though their constituents rely on it and will now see a significant increase in ACA premiums for the Californians who rely on Covered California.

Indiana has been pressured by both the President and Vice President to redraw its maps to favor Republicans and has expressed fear of retaliation.

North Carolina has signaled interest in redrawing its map.

Ohio and Utah have been ordered by courts to redraw their maps.

Texas and Missouri have successfully redrawn their congressional maps to give Trump 6 GOP House seats.

Florida and Kansas have taken initial steps to potentially redraw theirs.

🚨 A larger Republican majority in Congress means more attacks on healthcare and reproductive freedom, racially-targetted illegal raids in immigrant communities, authoritarian occupations of sanctuary cities, and much more.

Newsom signed these 4 Repro bills into law:

AB 260 - strengthens access to abortion medication
AB 50 - prohibits sharing of patients' information
AB 1525 - shields lawyers assisting states with abortion bans
AB 45 - allows Medi-Cal patients to access over-the-counter abortion medication

🔔 On Fri (9/26), Newsom signed 4 bills to protect #ReproductiveFreedom in California. 2 of these bills went into effect immediately, including Courage's priority bill, AB 260.

⚠️ These laws come amidst Trump's federal attacks against reproductive freedom.

These 5 California Republican Congress members ignored the best interests of their constituents and voted to pass Trump’s One, Big, Beautiful Bill.

👉 Fun Fact: The congressional districts of these congressmembers are up for a temporary re-draw in Newsom’s proposed California redistricting maps.
