Folks, we found it, we found cozy horror

A truth that cannot be captured by philosophy, by reason, by any form of knowledge that would seek to theorize it. The truth of the body in its most raw, unrestrained form: a body that writes itself into being only to find itself undone. You write. To stop is to cease being.

There is no meaning in the text itself, no telos, no resolution. There is only the endlessness of language, slipping from one meaning into another, always just out of reach. And yet, in this slipping, in the rush of words that tear at your skin, there lingers a kind of truth.

You write, as though each letter is an attempt to reconcile the irreconcilable, to stitch together the fragmented parts of a life that will never be whole. You write to touch the void, to experience the unbearable nearness of absence.

Kay Vaindal's got a new story out in ergot. and it's fucking class. One of the best at just throwing out some batshit scenario and letting it play out with no explanation.

I don't like this trend of people being afraid to experience (negative) emotions when consuming art.

Experiencing things outside of your own point of view makes life a lot more interesting, and is honestly necessary to understand the world and people around you.
