20 February 1942 | A transport of 171 men deported by the Germans from the Radom district of the General Government arrived at Auschwitz.
Among them was Lewek Grünbaum, a Polish Jew born in 1888 in Warta. He was a laborer. Camp no. 23395.
He perished in Auschwitz on 15 March 1942.
20 February 1923 | A Polish Jewish woman, Sara Auszenkier, was born in Łódź. During the war she lived in Paris.
In July 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz. She did not survive.
