thanks, I practice some of these but maybe not as much as I should. The characters being mostly in neutral poses in a void is just because I like doing pinup style stuff with my OCs but it's probably not as interesting to look at as a dynamic illustration which isn't really my thing

rate of improvement I guess. I know comparing yourself to others is a big no-no when it comes to these things but I have friends who started drawing after I did and are already at professional level ;-;

it really discourages me sometimes seeing my art friends grow their skills by leaps and bounds before my eyes but I remain stagnant like I hit some sort of low ceiling. Even trying things out of my comfort zone doesn't seem to help much. Am I just doomed?
