This evening the vote for the 2026 #Harborough coalition budget was lost & a wreaking amendment passed.
There were a couple of good ideas in the motion which should have been brought to scrutiny, but we lost £666k & a officer post for the rewilding project.

Today a few of our members were in Leucester to support our sister party in their by-election campaign.
The numbers say they have a great chance!
Aasiya got 25% in the PCC elections and I don't think we would have needed to vote down her budget!

When the District councils go in April 2028 we wont have a say in the management of our local assets & services.
We say yes to local democracy!
