L&O has never been established as being part of the same universe as FBI (and in fact huge swaths of the cast have been on both) but there was a crossover between FBI and the One Chicago franchise, and One Chicago and L&O also had crossovers.

Even without considering the fire pole I'm pretty sure the first time I had to get out bed on those stairs with no safety railings I would break at least three (3) bones.

I know that I would feel fully comfortable leaving an unfamiliar bed by fire pole that I haven't personally examined for safety features or hygiene.
