Some of us have only been here two months, while others have for 25 years. Whatever our experience, we know that we work better together in solidarity. #mckaysbooks #cwa #solidarity #strongertogether

It’s been 1057 days since we presented a letter to the owners of McKay’s Books, asking for our union to be voluntarily recognized. When the owners didn’t, the NRLB held a vote, and we overwhelmingly decided YES. We have been fighting for our first contract for 2 and a half years. #cwa #unionstrong

Throwback to our #CWA local 3805 President Ray Mehaffey speaking at our solidarity rally from October 2022. We’re still working on that first contract. If you haven’t signed our petition, today’s a good day.

Remember that when you’re spending your hard earned money. Shop small, shop local, shop at pro-union businesses who treat their employees fairly.
One year ago today, we all showed up to the table. We’ve proven again and again that we are stronger together.
On February 23, 2023 we showed up with a full contract proposal. Next week we are back at it for our 22nd month of bargaining fair first contract.
It’s been 638 days since we started bargaining with the owners for our fair first contract. We are still fighting. We aren’t going anywhere. ✊🏽
