This weekend, I joined Delano North Kern Cemetery to lay wreaths honoring our fallen veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. As we enter the holiday season, we honor their sacrifice and the freedoms they defended.

Proud to announce that the Governor has signed my bill, AB1094, into law. This legislation increases penalties for caregivers convicted of torturing a child under the age of 14 aligning the penalty with the gravity of the crime and the victim’s vulnerability.
Proud to announce the Governor has signed my bill, AB1069. As a volunteer physician during natural disasters and Aging and Long-Term Care Chair, I have seen the need to improve evacuations for seniors. AB1069 improves California’s emergency response and better protects aging and disabled people.
