When I've run modules I always read everything a million times, make my own notes, feel like I'm doing good, and then after the session realize I totally misunderstood something and fucked up an entire plotline

I wonder what the experience would be like to play Brindlewood Bay as a GMless game, and give all the players access to the mystery information (suspects, clue list, etc).

If a stranger immediately complimented a part of me that’s not conventionally attractive I’d be like “okay this person is either making fun of me or trying to get something from me”

I was watching a clip from Catch Me If You Can, where Frank Abagnale is schmoozing Amy Adams’s character, who has braces, and he compliments her smile and she immediately warms up to him and helps him out and I was like “that could never be me.”

One thing about me is that a “charming” person always makes me immediately wary.

That’s definitely not the standard experience but it does happen!

You should list games if you want to run them! I listed a Brindlewood Bay game intending to run it for a group who asked me and within 24 hours a different group of people I had no connection to booked it because it was the only Brindlewood campaign listed, the others were all one-shots.
