I feel like we are smart enough to FIGURE THIS OUT, let’s see if there are bulldozer manuals on the internet and then take matters into our own hands.

The taco trucks that cluster outside the Art Institute are all fantastic. The best Jewish deli in the Loop is Eleven Diner, everything about that place is old school legit. Xi’an Cuisine is the best Chinese food I’ve found in the Loop short of going to Chinatown, which is of course worth doing.

When I was 10, I wrote Jimmy Carter asking his opinion about term limits. I think it was for my 5th grade Social Science Fair. He was only a year out of office. I think his handwritten note back is the first thing I would save if my house was burning down.

Georgia Tech’s architecture library has great resources on African architecture, and dedicated architecture librarians. Outside researchers can access the library for research.

As a parent of a teen who bikes and walks to Midtown I am so happy to hear this. And it is doubly cool that they are art pieces.

Mixing photogrammetry, procedural 3D maps and BIM models is a helluva combo.

Imagine a world where every city has a digital twin like this -- letting us model not just buildings, but every piece of infrastructure underneath. The ultimate mirror world.

Baltimore is a state of mind that you can find anywhere you need it most.

This doesn’t seem like a net negative if it lessens the need for surface parking lots in cities. Doesn’t ride-sharing allow urban density and help affordability?

As a 40+ who waited until the kids were old enough before embarking on a long-delayed MFA, I applaud this take.
