I didn't create any of my streaming accounts until after he moved out, he shouldn't have any devices that were previously logged in nor does he have my login information. I got an email when he logged in about a new device having access to my account.

mk I've filed a report with the police about not only this but his history of abuse/threats towards myself and my family so at least it's in the books and if he continues to harass us we'll have more evidence against him.

I'll be deleting this thread later, thank you guys for your help.

I think my main question rn is if this is something I should report to authorities now so it's in their system or just keep an eye on things and keep a paper trail? I have no idea.

It's so weird though because every time I log in it sends a code to my email to use but with this it went straight to "a new device has logged into your account"

I already have all my cards set up to send me notifications with every purchase, I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on all my accounts.

Every site that shared a similar password has been changed

He attempted to physically assault me and threaten me back when he lived with us, mom kicked him out and got the deed to the house and is actively working on trying to get an eviction notice because all his junk is still there and he's essentially been using her as a free storage unit for his shit.

DUDE THIS for me they even had the gall to say "well maybe if you weren't so depressed all the time" I WAS DEPRESSED BECAUSE I WAS LIVING WITH PEOPLE WHO SECRETLY LOATHED MY MERE PRESENCE LOL

PS if someone else believes the lies the toxic friends say about you and take their side before even asking for your side of the same story, then that person wouldn't have been a good one to keep around to begin with ~

YES exactly, this applies to ANY relationship in your life; family, friends, partners, etc

If what I've experienced can help just one other person going through the same, then this was worth sharing.

I do vents like these at times because it just helps remind others that I'm human with emotions too, not just an art machine pumping out content, y'know?

Sorry for the random vent. I've been through so much hell and chaos over the last 4 years, but I'm finally in a place of peace where I'm happy, surrounded by people who genuinely care about me. These last few years felt like a horrible fever dream, but I'm finally out of it.

Does it hurt? Incredibly so. I've mourned the loss of the idea of what someone used to be to me, but the pain doesn't last forever, I promise.

There will be a day where the person who hurt you won't be the first thought on your mind, and when that day comes, it's a sign you're healing. 🤍

I've had my fair share of toxic friendships, but I also have so many good ones, and the world is so much bigger than the toxic ones we've been hurt by that we tend to focus on. The toxics are simply stepping stones we learn from, learn red flags to look for, learn our boundaries, and move forward.

But we are not personally responsible for someone else's happiness nor personal growth, only our own. If they refuse to grow then that's on them, and if you've outgrown them? That's ok.

Surround yourself with people that will only add to your happiness, not take from it.

Some will gaslight you, pin blame on you, use you as a scapegoat for things you didn't do, but that's just because they're too emotionally immature to take accountability for their own faults and refuse to say "I'm sorry, I own up to what I did and will work towards trying to improve and grow."

Friendly reminder that your life is IMMENSELY better off without 'friends' who are nice to your face yet come up with lies about you behind your back to try and turn others against you.

It's a detriment to your happiness and your peace, you don't deserve that immature chaos.
