I'll probably make an entire thread on why I love Brennan so much as a DM too later, but the short of it is he also seemed to have played DnD the same way I approached it: What if we created thr feeling of a movie or directors work in this campaign? Absolutely love it.

Also this isn't a stab at anyone who loves Critical Role, I'm happy you do! I just like D20 more personally.

-of their adventure. It is odd that I prefer a high school story over that but I don't know. Maybe I'll continue it but I don't love the flow in Critical Role. But maybe if I watch the first episode of the cartoon then listen to it I'll like it more. Just jarring for me the way everything was-

-a huge amount of lore that you want to explain at inconvenient moments...like no offense to those people or anything, I get that they're excited, but I don't love it. Which is why I'm tempted to just watch the cartoon for Critical Role instead because I just can't get into the flow-

I said I wouldn't be talking about random stuff but I feel compelled to admit that Dimension 20's first campaign hooked me more than Critical Role ever did. I just think throwing your characters in a setting and them slowly exploring it is much more interesting to me than having a setting with-

He might have been my second fig I pulled idk. I wasn't crazy about him at first because I'd prefer a big Chuthulu over this but I agree, might be one of the best ones. And the intellect devourer (brain dog) is such an amazing piece I agree!

Indecisiveness, what a nuisance, hence two photographs – and a testament of the quality of the snowtrooper armor! I mean, those rebels, two of them have already lost their moustache and it's not nearly as bad a weather as the snowtroopers are experiencing.
